Project Engineer - Structural ( Offshore)

Job Description:

The project currently progresses in the tender stage, which to be followed by the detailed engineering and subsequently onshore construction phase.

The candidate will :

Works in a team of engineers and experts
Reports to the structural lead
Is responsible for managing part of the structural steel and layouting aspects of the substations
- Contact person for EPC Contractor
- Detailed engineering of offshore substations
- Corrosion protection
- Quality control (including third party approval)
Coordinates with other disciplines within the team
- Utilities
- HV equipment
- Civil Works
- Other packages
- T&I

Working hours & workplace:

Full time
5 days a week in Brussels (+/-2 days homeworking possible)
Short business trips to contractors (more extensive during construction).

Candidate Profile:

Hard skills and soft skills:

You have at least 4 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in the offshore sector is a plus
- Experience with structural engineering of offshore platforms is a large plus
Education: Engineer (preferably structural)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working in team and structured
A quick learner
Excellent MS Office skills

Languages: Fluent in English (Dutch, French is a plus)
