For our client, an investment portfolio company, we are looking for a Finance, Tax and Compliance Manager.
Job Description:
As Finance, Tax and Compliance Manager, your task and responsibilities will be divided in 3 fields:
Accounting oversight:
- Review and validate accounting classifications and journal entries
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with Belgian accounting standards;
- Where necessary, provide your expertise to ensure general understanding (accounting treatments, Belgian taxation system...), to internal collaborators and external partners;
- Coordinate inter-company reconciliation processes between the company and head office.
Tax compliance :
- In collaboration with tax consultants, you ensure compliance with Belgian and international tax regulations, including but not limited to global minimum tax requirements (Pillar 2);
- Maintain a strong sense of tax compliance;
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of all tax returns.
Communication and coordination :
- Act as the main point of contact for external accountants, auditors and tax consultants, as well as with head office, to ensure the best possible follow-up on financial reporting and compliance issues;
- Support audit processes by preparing the necessary documentation and coordinating with auditors.
Candidate Profile:
Do you have the following knowledge, skills and qualities? Then you're just the person we're looking for!
- You are educated in the field and have a minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience;
- You are fluent in English;
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch is an asset;
- Do you speak Chinese? All the better!
- You're a people person and a good communicator;
- You're patient, analytical and think on your feet;
- You're meticulous and pay great attention to detail;
- You excel at verification tasks;
- You are a good learner and know how to express your ideas both concisely and in detail;
- You are an attentive leader and can manage large-scale projects.
Our client offers:
