In collaboration with our client, a large, modern international company in the food industry, we are looking for an International B2B Customer Service Representative for the Nordic countries to join their team due to growing business activities.
Job Description:As a Customer Service Representative at the headquarters in Ghent, you will be fully responsible for handling, tracking, and processing international customer orders from start to finish.
You will manage major accounts in the Scandinavian market and report directly to the Export Customer Service Manager. The role emphasizes administrative tasks, with 95% of customer communication conducted via email.
Your Responsibilities:
- Entering sales forecasts.
- Receiving and processing orders in SAP.
- Managing orders blocked due to credit limits.
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with production planning.
- Optimizing orders for full truckloads and suggesting logistical or product alternatives when necessary.
- Organizing transportation and preparing required (customs) documentation.
- Handling invoicing and preparing credit and debit notes.
- Registering and following up on customer complaints.
- Coordinating sample shipments to clients.
- You hold a business bachelor’s degree or master languages, ideally with some initial experience in a commercial support role. Recent graduates with strong administrative skills are also encouraged to apply.
- You are a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- You have a very good command of English (main working language) and a basic understanding of Dutch.
- You are dynamic and enjoy working in an international context.
- You work precisely and independently.
- You have strong proficiency in MS Office tools like PowerPoint and OneNote and quickly grasp systems and processes.
- You are hands-on and willing to provide support wherever needed.
